I have activate my License before, but unfortunately I had to uninstall Zemax software from my Laptop. Now it is showing no License. I am unable to use my Zemax license because I have no License transfer code. I don’t know how to access the software.

While I was trying to access my zemax account, it showed me an error message and now on logging into my account , it shows that my licence has expired.  If possible, KIndly look into it and let me know if there is something I can do to curb this problem. Given below is the attachment of the screenshot. 

I got the student license for the program, and I was able to download the optical studio file, but when I go to install I get the following error: “International error: expression error ‘Runtime Error (“at time”):SWbem ObjectSet: Classe invalida.” How can solve this? 

My name is Xiangli Jia and I'm a PhD student at UC Berkeley. I have a Zemax student license as part of the Zemax Academic program.Several weeks ago my laptop crashed and I had to reset it. Unfortunately, the reset uninstalled the Zemax on my computer and I'm not able to activate Zemax on this computer using the license activation code I have.I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi I recently downloaded OpticsStudio on my Windows bootcamp but I almost always get a pop-up window before opening OpticsStudio saying 'Key is not working properly' and it then doesn't allow me to open the program. I've correctly installed everyhting and even managed to open OpticStudio twice without isssues but for some reason this problem with the key keeps reoccuring.  It's extremly frustrating as it completely delays my course projects.  Really hope someone can help me out. Hello, i am using a standard version of Zemax OpticStudio 20.2. I am not able to access certain features like '' Chip zone '' and optimization by choosing '' contrast '' as the optimization critireon. Is it because i am using standard version. Can anybody confirm this.Thanks in advance.

I have a problem transfering my student licence . It's activated on my old computer and havent access to it, so I can't activated on my new computer with the first activation key. How can i get the licence?

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to have an older version and the newest version installed both on the same computer, and if I then will be able to run them both.This because I experience a bug (already reported) in the newest version, but my colleague does not experience that bug in the 2019 version, so I was thinking of doing this specific design in the older version.Kind regards,Rick

Since upgrading to the latest Zemax OpticStudio version 21.3.2 (or maybe after a minor Windows 10 update?), I have been having license issues with my Subscription Professional license.Especially after sitting idle for a week or more, I get the Zemax License Manager popup showing no licenses.  I have found that I can click “Check & Repair HASP Drivers” on the Troubleshoot page, and then get the “Service restarted successfully” message (see attached image).After restarting the HASP service (whatever that means), then View License shows my license and OpticStudio runs as usual.Is anybody else experiencing this?-- Greg

Good Afternoon, Product: Premium Subscription SUL License Number: L123561 Expiration: Friday, December 9, 2022The above is my information. However, I had my Zemax OpticStudio but then a notification popped up  “Zemax key not found” then I restarted computer and now it is directing me to the Zemax License Manager version. When I put in the same License  Number and activation code, it fails because it is not a new license. IT services in my institution had to update Windows on my PC. I am an end user in a shared network perpetual license. However, although the HASP reads Okay and I can see the license in the license manager, on starting up optic studio I get an error message stating that no license was found. When reviewing similar questions I see people recommended to transfer the license, however I did not do this and would like to resolve this issue.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Joaquín Gómez and I am a master's student at the University of Cantabria. I have a Global Academic Program License. I have transferred my license of the Zemax software to another PC which I had to reinstall. I did not make a copy of the license anywhere else because I thought it would be kept on the original PC. Now I don't have the license on any of the PCs and I need to submit a job on this software shortly. I beg for your help and understanding. Kind regards.

Hi, I’m looking for some advice.I’m running a student license of OpticsStudio. I have a PC at my flat, which is the main computer I am working on. But since it is Corona time, I’m also at my parents house, working with my notebook. Is there an option to run OpticStudio with my license on both computers? Not at the same time, of course. I traded my Perpetual License to a Subscription License.  I got OpticStudio now running under the new Perpetual License, so I would think that I have to “return” my old Perpetual License.  How do I do this?  Just send it away through the License Manager, or something else?
