An activation code is used to activate or update a key. When you are added as an end-user of a key (for example an already activated network key), the license manager will automatically search for that license. If it doesn’t find it automatically, then have a look at that link: https://support.zemax.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500005488041-How-to-configure-the-keyserver-and-clients-for-Zemax-network-licenses#what-to-do-if-the-license-is-not-found-automatically-0-5. It shows how to input the machine name of the network license server you would like to access.

Hi team,
Please advise, I have related problem. I have Opticstudio educator end user license and received the license number. However I failed to activate the license due to activation code error. Where do I get the activation code? I tried using the code sent on account activation email got an error that the code I am using has wrong format. what is correct format?
