I got the student license for the program, and I was able to download the optical studio file, but when I go to install I get the following error:
“International error: expression error ‘Runtime Error (“at time”):
SWbem ObjectSet: Classe invalida.”
How can solve this?

This is a Windows error rather than one from the Opticstudio installer itself, so I don’t have any guaranteed fixes for such an error. I did find one thread online that seems to apply and they gave this suggestion.
First, open a command prompt as administrator: https://www.howtogeek.com/194041/how-to-open-the-command-prompt-as-administrator-in-windows-8.1
When the command prompt opens type the following line and hit the Enter key to run it. This will attempt to rebuild the WMI repository and may help.
winmgmt /salvagerepository
