optical path length in non-sequential mode

Hello,

I want to optimize my system by calculating the optical path length between to surfaces in non-sequential mode, similar to what PLEN does in sequential mode. Is there a way to do this? My goal in this is that the beam travels an exact distance before it hits an off-axis mirror.

Thanks!

Hello Katrin,

Thanks for your question here.

The NSRA non-sequential single ray trace operand reports the optical path for individual rays in Data 17:

Best,
