ISO 10110 drawing: imperfections in visibility method rather than dimensional method

Hi,

is there a way to specify the surface imperfections in the ISO drawing as per the visibility method (40-20 scratch-dig for example), instead of just the dimensional method (NxA, CN’xA’...)?

The ISO 10110 standard has been updated (in 2017) to include both methods.

I am using Zemax 20.3.1.

Thanks,

Audrey

Hi Audrey

Sorry for the delay in replying. We missed your message.

Unfortunately the answer is no. In the help files, only the Surface Imperfection Method 1 is mentioned, which is the Dimensional specification method. The Visibility specification method is not available.

I will mention this to our product team.
