Comparing ZOS files

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is there an efficient way to check for differences between two ZOS files?

Yes, it’s possible to save two files as ascii files (.zmx) and compare the two using a text editor with a compare function, but the file is relatively difficult to understand.

It would be nice if there’s a function that highlights cells in the componen editor that’s different from a similar file.

Hi,

There  is a function to compare files in the File tab, the File Comparator:

It’s not as extensive as comparing 2 zmx files in a text editor, though.
