Why paraxial lens cannot simulate optical path difference and resulting phase difference accurately?

Borui

I build a simple model with a Source Ellipse, two paraxial lens with the same f and spaced 2*f apart. So in theory from Source Ellipse are first focused by the first lens and then we can get a plane wave after the second lens. If we put a detector after the second lens, all rays hitting the detector should have the same coherent phase, but that's not the case.

Because I need to analyze the wavefont of a flys eye array, I plan to combine many paraxial lenses as an array. However this problem shocked me😥
