Davis

hi,

I got a non-sequential simulation model, and I concern the image space NA.

I checked the prescription data in this non-sequential model, but anything like F/# and Numerial Aperture is not showing in it. how should I get these value in a non-sequential mode? please advise.

sincerely yours

Davis

Hi Davis,

the numerical aperture in image space can be defined as the sine of the maximum angle impinging onto the image plane. You can measure this angle in NSC mode by evaluating the intensity distribution in the image plane in angle space. To do this, set the “Show Data” parameter of the Detector Viewer to “Radiance (angle space)”.

It might also be possible to get this angle via some merit function operator.

Best regards
Benjamin
