Dear Madam/Sir,

I have an issue to connect and use POP with ZOS-API (I am using Matlab, but Python would also work).

Are there any example files for usage POP withing API?

Best,

Nikola

Hi Nikola,

Thanks for your question here!

There is a nice forum thread about how to open a new POP analysis, change the settings, and run it from the API. It also contains a Matlab sample code, please find the link below:

Physical Optics Propagation (POP) - API settings · MyZemax

Please note that the POP analysis was added to the API in the OpticStudio 20.3 release, for more details check out the release notes:

OpticStudio_ReleaseNotes

I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions, please ask.

Best,

Csilla
