1 Service Pack 20.3.1 - Bug Fixes

1.1 OpticsBuilder for Creo

OpticsBuilder for Creo Parametric now includes the following bug fixes:

  • Increased support for Boolean native object types with resolution on a bug causing the Boolean Native object to display with an incorrect size. Bug resolution that caused Creo crashes when viewing or editing properties of Boolean Native shapes with a hole in the center.
  • The boundary rays were disappearing when changing the graphical thickness of the rays.
  • To support the new editing optics functionality released in 20.3, we fixed a bug which was causing the Results window to automatically create a 0 baseline after a component was moved or changed. The Results window now compares the moved or changed component to the original OpticStudio design and offers an option for the user to set this changed system as a 0 baseline for further analysis.
  • Reference geometry was not displaying properly on the newly supported compound lens.

1.2 OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS

OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS now includes the following bug fixes:

  • Increased support for Boolean native object types with a resolution that caused Creo crashes when viewing or editing properties of Boolean Native shapes with a hole in the center.
  • We have fixed a bug that allowed the Rays Ignore Object setting to be changed with a read-only .ZBD file
  • We were seeing a bug that caused the simulation to fail for a system which included mechanical components and was using the trace mechanical components as a “single part” option.
