1 Service Pack 21.1.2 – Bug Fixes
1.1 OpticsBuilder for Creo
OpticsBuilder for Creo Parametric now includes the following bug fixes:
- If a lens has different scatter models and is edited by the CAD tools, it is classified as an optomechanical part and is moved into the mechanical components section of the Optics Management Tree.
- When an optical assembly is imported into an existing top assembly that contains a part without a solid body, the optics manager did not recognize the optical assembly and showed empty. Some of the OpticsBuilder command buttons were disabled.
- There were some failures when running a Simulation and the Detector Viewer was empty when using the samples “Laser w Aplanatic Lens” and “Spectrometer”. A calculation error has been fixed to resolve this
1.2 OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS
OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS now includes the following bug fixes:
- If a lens has different scatter models and is edited by the CAD tools, it is classified as an optomechanical part and is moved into the mechanical components section of the Optics Management Tree.
- There were some failures when running a Simulation and the Detector Viewer was empty when using the samples “Laser w Aplanatic Lens” and “Spectrometer”. A calculation error has been fixed to resolve this.
- If a user created a mechanical component within SOLIDWORKS and attempted to add this to the “included components” list within the Add Fold Mirror tool, the mechanical component would not change position according to the fold mirror path.
- When exporting a .ZBD file from OpticsBuilder and opening within OpticStudio, a series of error messages would show regarding dimension units. This was resolved in the .ZBD export within OpticsBuilder.
