Hello, Is there a conversion tool that allows optics studio new zemax file .zmx to open in Zemax 12? I can’t open the new optics studio file (.zmx) using older version of zemax.

Hi
We do not guarantee the compatibility with older versions. That being said, almost all files will open without any problems with older versions. You will just get a warning message.
Sometimes you can have issues when opening files that contain new features.
