We would like to inform you about a known issue in our upcoming release, Ansys Zemax OpticStudio 2024 R2. This issue involves the incorrect usage of multiple seats for multiple instances. Specifically, the first two instances will share a single seat, however any additional instances will incorrectly consume an extra seat per instance.

Our team is actively working on a fix for this issue, and we expect to release the corrected version, Ansys Zemax OpticStudio R2.01, by the end of July.
