OpticStudio 20.1.2 contains the following fixes and enhancements.
Performance & Stability
- Relative Illumination – The algorithm was changed to better handle different combinations of surface types (mirror/not mirror) and thickness types (virtual/not virtual) at the image surface.
- Grid Sag Surface – A scaling issue was fixed when using the Grid Sag Surface in the Surface Sag Cross Section, 3D Viewer, and Shaded Model where values outside the aperture were displayed as NaN.
Bug Fixes
- Quick Sensitivity – Quick Sensitivity now lists the Worst Offenders. These values were previously only accessible when running a full tolerance.
- Full Field Aberration – The Full Field Aberration analysis configuration file (.CFG) no longer causes crashes due to previously saved settings.
- Polarization Transmission Data – The Polarization Transmission Data analysis now correctly doesn’t account for surfaces that are ignored in the Lens Data Editor. Ignored surfaces are no longer displayed in the analysis and subsequent surfaces have the correct Total and Relative Transmission value.
