No refraction occurs on the surface.

Hello ZEMAX

I am designing in non-sequential mode.

My ZEMAX version is 11 (very old)

I designed three hexahedral lenses and there is air between the lenses.

And there is a Source Point in LENS1.

The Cone Angle of the Source Point is 180.0.

From now on, I will explain the problem.

When the light generated from the source point in LENS1 escapes, no refraction occurs on the LENS1 surface.

However, when the light enters LENS2 or LENS3, refraction occurs. (If LENS1 is excluded, refraction occurs)

If there is a point source in lens 2, no refraction occurs in LENS2 surface. On the other hand, refraction occurs on the surface except LENS2.

Is the space with the source always considered air?

I have attached the NSC 3D Layout.

Thanks

Hi Suhwan,

I've never worked with such an old version, have you used the Inside Of flag? You might want to look it up in the Help File.

Can you share this design file with us? It might be easier to explain.

Take care,

David

Hi David,

Thanks for your help every time.

I will attach zemax file, coating file, glass file.

Thanks

Hi David,

I solved the problem.

I ignored'Inside of' in the Non-Sequential Component Editor window. That was my big mistake.

I didn't feel it was important.

Thanks,

David
