What is the easiest way to define a constant refractive index in non-sequential mode? I don't care for the wavelength dependency, I just need to define a constant refractive index for a Rectangular Volume object.
Thank you.

Hi Elisavet,
What about a Model Glass Solve on the Material cell of the non-sequential editor? Just type in your Index Nd value.
Take care,
David
Thank you. I was just worried that since I don't know the Abbe number or the dispersion parameter for my material, this may have had some unexpected behavior. I suppose I can just leave them to zero
Yes, exactly. If you leave Vd, and dPgF to zero you'll have a constant refractive index independant of the wavelength. If you input a Vd, it'll have a linear relationship to the wavelength, and if you input dPgF, I think it uses a proprietary formula as explained in this knowledgebase article.
Take care,
David
