Hi all, I have compiled a merit function where reading a value on the rectangular detector, I divide it in half and I would like to use it as a target to optimize the system. I have no idea how one can assign a value to a target that is a function of another.
I attach image to simplify.
Thanks to all.

Hi Luca,
I would use the DIFF operand, which will give you the value Operand 14 - Operand 15 and target it to zero. Does that make sense?
Take care,
David
Hi, actually the image is not correct, I found what I need by applying a simple algebraic operator. My requirement is linked to the fact that I have to characterize a material of which I know the result provided by a hazelmeter in terms of half power angle. My variables are "mean path" and "angle" (I added the power variable of the source to speed up the process - I hope !!!).
