Dear Zemax community,

I am modeling a beam expander which expands the beam after the laser exit and deliver it to an illumination system. I am using NSC mode with detector rectangle. I would like to measure beam size and divergence at different distances from the laser exit. I want to use NSDD macro for measuring the beam width.  By using -10 and -11 for pix# and 1 for data#, NSDD measures the second momentum or the beam width in x and y direction. But how about divergence? I am thinking whether I can use the same macro (NSDD) with -10 and -11 for pix# and 2 for data# but, this gives the solid angle or more precisely the distribution of the intensity with respect to the solid angle, so I am not sure if I can get any info about divergence with NSDD.

Does anyone know whether there is a way to measure divergence in Zemax? and does using NSDD for the divergence make sense?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Maryam
