I'm very new on Zemax... (just a few exercises and tutorials)
I am struggling with the simulation of an optics for a time-of-flight system.
I have an optical fiber with 105 um 0.22 NA core and I have to focus it in the best possible way at a distance of 20 m (now I set 200 mm, to test if the optimization works). In the end my purpose is to compare the results obtained using a commercial fiber optic collimator and a custom one, but I'm not able to optimize any distance or curvature.
I think I'm getting the merit function wrong / not inserting the right operand or constraints...
Can you help me? I attach a screenshot of what I have now.
