For some reason, the set vignetting doesn’t work properly. there is an black box lens in the file which should introduce vignetting, some rays are even outside of the boundary. however, when I click the set Vignetting button. it doesn’t seem work. the same file was working on other computer. does any one knows what went wrong here?

If the Zemax file works on one computer but not the other, this suggests that the Zemax Optic Studio versions might be different. Could you please check the versions on both computers and share the Zemax file you're working with so I can review it?

It turns out that there may be a bug related to a difference between OpticStudio versions for Black Boxes. The ray-trace and vignetting for this particular system + Black Box does demonstrate different behavior depending on the release. For this particular file, we compared 22.1.2 vs. 22.2.1 vs. 2024 R1, which had differences.
We have filed a bug report so that our development team can investigate this issue further and provide a fix.
