I am trying to take a known set of Fringe Zernike Coefficients, and insert them into a zemax optical system model as a Zernike Fringe Phase surface. I’ve gotten as far as being able to insert the surface and set it as a Zernike Fringe Phase type, but I haven’t had any success with entering coefficient values into the LDE. I’ve tried LDE.GetSurfaceAt(28).GetCellAt(14).DoubleValue = valuewhere value is a float, but it throws an exception saying that a Double was expected and it got a string. I’ve also tried to just return a value that I’ve typed in manually, but had no success that way either. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? It seems like it should be simple with entering numbers into the LDE, but nothing has seemed to work so far. Thanks
I’m trying to write a script using the Zemax API to run the ghost focus generator, save the files, and then do analysis on the resultant files.I don’t see anything in the documentation for the API about running the ghost focus generator and searches of the API documentation turn up no results. Is it possible to run the ghost focus generator from the API? If so, where can I find the syntax? Thanks!
such as fist type i used the filed tpye is real image heightbut i want to convert the type to angle through the macro commandSYSP 100,0however it convert result is the field type is angle but the field datas is not changelike the filed data in No. 12 is 3.4mm in real image heightbut after convert the filed data in No. 12 is 3.4° in anglei want to get the results are similar ,the field datas follws the field type
Dear ANSYS Team,I have got a question regarding usage of “TABB” Operand with respect to SWIR spectrum.OpticStudio Help says that TABB is intepreted to be a change in d-light Abbe number, which will change the index at all wavelengths in a non-linear fashion. Are there any recommendations to simulate tolerance of Abbe-number in the SWIR regime from 950 to 1800 nanometer wavelengths? Many thanks in advance.Kind regardsChristian
How does one convert the numeric value obtained from user INPUT to STRING data type? Thanks
