Hello,

I am trying to find the Zemax article and the included reference that discusses the solar disc profile. This profile was applied to “Source Radial” in 12 steps over 0.29°. I have been using the below values. I want to review the original source reference.

I(0.00)  13.6

I(0.03)  13.6

I(0.05)  13.4

I(0.08)  13.3

I(0.11)  13.0

I(0.13)  12.7

I(0.16)  12.2

I(0.18)  11.4

I(0.21)  10.1

I(0.24)  7.0

I(0.26)  1.7

I(0.29)  0.1

Thanks,

Keith Farnsworth

Hi Keith

I have checked with my colleagues and we didn’t find any old articles about the sun. However this article explains how to do it with a Source Radial. Maybe that can help:

Hi Keith

Do you know by any chance what was the name of that article? Thank you.

Hi Sandrine,
Unfortunately, I do not recall the article or even the topic. It was several years ago.

Thanks,

Keith
