Question

Should I keep using POP method to simulate a image system if the ZBF.file (light source) is not similar to the Gaussian beam??

Hi everyone,

I have Lumerical and Zemax license to run the different scales of simulation.
However, I want to do the Zemax propagation after I collect my electromagnetic field data in Lumerical.
I use the Zemax interoperability to transfer my electromagnetic field (Lumerical) into ZBF file and use it as the light source in Zemax.
In order to see the interference phenomenon and the focus spot in Zemax, I used POP method with a simple Lens setup.
The results were not well. Please tell me how do I adjust my Zemax simulation if I have ZBF file which is not like gaussian beam.

Mant thanks,

Simon Wang
