Question

Same Image and Aperture Plane in Hybrid Mode

Hello,

I’m trying to create a hybrid mode model for my Herriott Cell  (Multipass) to analyze aberrations in the outgoing beam. The initial ray goes into the cell, bounces back and forth, until it comes out of the initial mirror that it went through.

In NSC mode, you would place a detector at the entrance to compare the initial and outgoing. However, in sequential mode, is there a way to place the image plane in the same plane as the stop plane to create an interferogram/aberration analysis? I’m unable to move the dummy surface between the image and non sequential component to to do this.

I have attached an image of what I thus far - any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!
