Some details about the System: Off-axis mirror set, curved mirrors involved.

Hi, it might be related to the coma or astigmatism introduced. These two could cause a large separation between tangential and sagittal performance. As you mentioned, you have an off-axis mirror, this could introduce certain coma and astigmatism.
