Hello,

I have on ongoing problem with Zemax. I am using a Windows 10 64-bit laptop. I recently upgraded to Zemax 21.1.1, but this problem also existed when I was using the last version (20.3?).

The first few times after I install Zemax, the program opens fine. After that, something happens and double clicking the shortcut on my desktop doesn't launch Zemax (or in C:\Program Files\Zemax OpticStudio). For example, just today Zemax crashed while I was editing a file. Now the program will not re-open. Even after restarting the computer Zemax fails to launch. Is this a known issue? Is there any type of work around?

I have reinstalled Zemax about 10 times, once every few weeks when I need to use the program. Any help you have to offer is much appreciated.
