Non-sequential multiconfiguration waveband tracing

I have a non-sequential component model with two configurations.  The wavelength bands in the two configurations are different as is the aperture size.  Everything else is otherwise the same.  If I 'Ray Trace' with analysis rays, do both configurations get traced and, if so, is there a way to filter out one of the configuration's ray traces via the filter string?

X_ WAVERANGE (n, a, b)?

Hi James,

The ray trace happens one configuration at a time. The results you see on the detector is the trace results from current configuration. Now, if you have multiple wavelengths in a single configuration, then you can certainly use filter string, like X_ WAVERANGE (n, a, b), to filter rays based on their wavelengths.

Best regards,
