Hi! 

Is there a way in OS to subsitute lenses from the catalogue in optimization process?

Hi Lieu-Kim,

 

Have you tried the Optimize..Stock Lens Matching tool? This tool will attempt to replace lenses from your system with those that are available from the catalogs. You have the option to add Air Thickness Compensation, which will use the Merit Function to find the best variable air thicknesses in your system.

The tool has some limitations, that are discussed here, and its not exactly doing what you’re asking for, but perhaps it can be of some value to you.

Hi David,

thank you for your advice about Stock Lens Matching.

I have tried to run this. Setting works only for option “all”. The results are not usable, since MF isn’t impoved
