I have .step file that i want to import.
I located the file correctly in the zemax folder, but whenever i try to import it in my project; it doesnot appear..
Any clues for this??

Importing CAD parts/STEP

Hi Noura,
You may need to give us more information to help you solve your problem. There can be a number of things that can cause the issue.
- You say it doesn’t appear, are you refering to the 3D Layout? Do you get an error message upon importing the CAD file?
- Did you manage to import other *.STEP files before? Can you share this file with us so we can try?
I strongly suggest to have a look at this article also.

The STEP file needs to be under \Objects\CAD Files.
