Fibre coupled laser diode

Hi guys, I am new in Opticstudio and I am going to design a fibre-coupled laser diode with fibre core is 4+/-0.4um,NA is 0.13,center wavelength is 635nm. How do these parameters help me to create the light source.

As you just getting started with OpticsStudio, I would like to introduce you to just that.. our 'Getting started' videos on the Knowledge Base.

After these vidos I would recommend to find some easy going examples within the Knowledge Base, so you get the hang of it. After that you can hit the ground running with your fibre coupled laser diode.


Regarding the parameters: 


In order to desgin an optical system in OpticStudio, these kind of parameters have to be set in the 'System Expolrer'. You can find a detailed describtion in the Help files:


The Setup Tab > System Group (the Setup Tab) > System Explorer
