I want to calculate the average of sagittal and tangential MTF as it is much realistic. How to do that? This is coming from a bifocal phase map. One way to do this is possibly vary defocus and calculate the PSF and, from there, through focus MTF. But I only put a 0 D and 3D to the phase map. So, pl help to calculate the average Through focus MTF vs focal shift at a particular special frequency of 50 cycles per mm. Thank you.
