even though there are already a view threads about modelling VCSEL in Optic Studio, there wasn't quit the answer I was looking for. So here it comes:
I try to model a VCSEL that has a batwing shaped angular distribution (see picture below). Up until now, I used the source radial in NSC Mode, which works perfectly fine. But know, I need to do analysis with POP and that is only possible in sequential mode. How can I implement such a beam in POP? I read that some people simulate VCSEL with the donut.zmm file, but this is not quite the same since this donut-shape is a spatial distribution.
What are your suggestions?
