First Steps:
1. Subscribe to User News & Alerts
When you subscribe, you will be kept up-to-date on news that affects Zemax’s user community, like new release functionalities, opportunities to learn and network, or critical issues.
2. Configure your profile
Log into the platform and navigate to your profile settings here. Each of your profile elements (except your last name) will be visible to all community members. We encourage you to be descriptive: tell others about your areas of expertise and professional interests.
3. Introduce yourself
Meet and interact with your colleagues in optics! Introduce yourself in our Networking Lounge. Some suggestions for items to share in this space include:
- How long you've been in the industry.
- What makes you passionate about optics.
- What you're looking for from your forum experience.
4. Familiarize yourself with our license and cookie policies
The Zemax Community is a 100% public space. This means that content will be visible regardless of login status. While we encourage you to participate in the community and engage with others, we recognize that some things simply can't be shared online. Make sure you understand what information Zemax (and others) will be able to collect by reading our guides.
