Zemax places a high importance on supporting you in using your best possible workflow, so we regret Dassault Systems’ recent decision to conclude Zemax’s membership in the SolidWorks partner program. As a result of this decision, Zemax is no longer able to support our OpticsBuilder for SolidWorks product nor the CAD Dynamic Link for SolidWorks capability previously included in the Premium edition of OpticStudio.

I have opticsbuilder pro and I have solidwork. since Dassault terminate support for zemax, how I can analyse my system in builder? Do I need to purchase creo now?

Yes and no… if you still have a supported license of OpticsBuilder for SolidWorks, you can continue to use the software until your license expires. But once it does expire, we will not be able to renew it. We are also unable to provide support that requires our team to use SolidWorks, though we can continue to guide you on OpticsBuilder-specific operations.
