1 Service Pack 20.3.2 - Bug Fixes
1.1 OpticsBuilder for Creo
OpticsBuilder for Creo Parametric now includes the following bug fixes:
- The optomechanical component properties window was updated to contain only relevant settings for optomechanical parts and to retain the assigned default material.
- Upon changing geometry using CAD tools, a component becomes a CAD Part: STEP. A bug fix was implemented to add the Apply Surface Properties dialog box when Editing Surface Properties of this component type. Another bug fix was implemented to move this component to the Mechanical Components section of the Optics manager following the geometry changes.
- When moving optics within OpticsBuilder, it caused the Simulation function to ignore them. This has been fixed to include all optics in the Simulation including after repositioning.
- The simulation Results were not updating after running a Simulation with an altered mechanical component. This has been fixed to re-render altered mechanical components to be included.
- The sample files were showing 100% beam clipping which was inaccurate. This has been resolved.
- New sample files are included which have the optical components setting to allow editing.
1.2 OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS
OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS now includes the following bug fixes:
- Rays were not displaying in the graphics area and the simulation Results window was reporting “0” for all criteria which was inaccurate. These issues are now resolved.
- When applying a section view it was partially clipping the boundary rays from the graphics area. This was a visual representation problem and has since been fixed.
- Previously, a mechanical component with a modified scatter profile did not retain its modified scatter properties when exporting a .ZBD file. This has been fixed, with all scatter profiles preserved while using the Export .ZBD feature.
- SOLIDWORKS was crashing when a scatter profile was defined on a non-cylindrical lens surface. This crash is resolved.
- New sample files are included which have the optical components setting to allow editing.
