OpticStudio 20.2.1 contains the following fixes and enhancements.
Performance & Stability
- ZOS-API – Added error code of SolveStatus.Failed to the API for situations where the solve cannot be properly set.
- Tolerance Data Viewer – Improved default widths for columns in the Tolerance Data Viewer.
- Image Simulation – Updated Image Simulation so the “Output File” setting matches the same orientation as the result displayed in the GUI.
Bug Fixes
- Black Box Files – Fixed paraxial magnification calculation with Black Box files in specific situations with a dummy surface immediately before.
- GRIN Ray Tracing – Fixed speed and convergence for GRIN ray tracing at steep angles of incidence for all sequential GRIN surfaces except Gradient 5 and Gradient 9.
- Radiant Source Models – Fixed an issue with not being able to View Radiant Source Model or Generate Rays introduced in 20.2.
- RMS Field Map – Fixed issue in RMS Field Map and RMS vs Focus where the analysis would run with the incorrect wavelength.
- Tolerance Script – Fixed an indexing mismatch with the tolerance script CPAR keyword where the parameter column was shifted by a value of 12.
