I’m trying to make heatmaps of beam spot size in a 2-mirror scanning system using a gaussian beam with an M Squared other than 1. I am able to get spot size information for a beam with M Squared over 1 along the optical axis using the Paraxial Gaussian Beam analysis but not in other parts of the field. Is there any way to do this or am I just limited to the optical axis.
