I want to fix the zoom, pan, and orientation of the geometry in my NSC shaded model, so when I update the position of one of the objects, it doesn’t change back to the default layout.  Is there a way to do this?

Its not totally relevant, but with the integration into the ZOS-API, its become a bit easier to produce consistent shaded models, and layouts.

However, there, Zoom and Pan are also missing. As they are not directly accessible from the settings, I imagine it won’t be an easy feature to implement, but I wrote a topic about it there:

In the beginning I also thought about the Zoom as a necessary feature, but if we can get a way to export vector graphics, then it becomes irrelevant (we could zoom into the image infinitely).

Anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning you’re not the only one interested in that!

Take care,

David

If I “save” in the window settings, Zemax saves the rotation, but not the zoom and pan.
