Laser diode Astigmatism

Dear all, 

I want to simulate the Laser diode source in the sequential mode, the source has astigmatism from the beginning on itself, Is there a way to set the astigmatism as an input?

Apologies for the delayed response. In case this question is still relevant or for the benefit of others: one way to model an astigmatic input is using an elliptical aperture:

There are a number of apertures to choose from, and you can control the X- and Y-Half Widths respectively.
