OpticStudio 21.1.1 contains the following fixes and enhancements.

Performance & Stability

  • Gradient 5 –  Detection of the ray-surface intercept on a Gradient 5 surface is now faster and more robust, in particular for large angles of incidence.
  • CAD – Improved the detection of co-located geometries and glue distances when using ACIS libraries.

Bugs

  • Zemax Black Box –  Fixed an issue with ray tracing and paraxial image height calculations for Black Boxes when apertures defined in the Black Box may have caused vignetting.
  • Volume Holograms – Corrected behavior of ray tracing with volume holograms. This includes curvilinear holograms and holograms in some mirror space configurations.
  • Tolerancing – Fixed a bug where the Yield plot could be incorrectly reversed when a MTF option was selected as the tolerancing criterion.
