Hello,

I am very new to OpticStudio, and I am having trouble creating a particular source in sequential mode. While using the Field Data Editor, I have tried different types of distributions. Currently my fields look like what is attached here, but I would like the beams to not diverge, and come out straight from the object instead of bending toward the lens. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thank you.

If this checkbox is selected, OpticStudio will assume the entrance pupil is located at infinity, regardless of the location of the stop surface. All chief rays leaving the object surface will be parallel to the local Z axis

Selecting“telecentric object space” under aperture type did the trick. Thanks.
