I have went through many articles that Zemax have provided as tutorial articles, but haven’t found anyone helpful which could clear my doubt. My doubt is “ How can we decide that what value of pupil sampling will be better for hugen point spread function?”
If anyone have their good view regarding my question, then please explain it.

Hi Sanjeev,
In my modest experience, there’s no harm in setting it up as high as you can. The only drawback is the time it takes to compute the analysis.
What I typically do is I try to start with low sampling, and increase it until I see it makes insignificant difference in the results. The issue is if you only change the Pupil Sampling and keep the default settings, the Image size changes, which makes it hard to compare. So, I usually set a fixed Image Sampling and Image Delta, so the Image size remains constant while I go over the different Pupil Sampling options.
