I really like some of the stuff that is coming with Ansys Zemax OpticStudio 24 R2.02, so I thought I`ll make some noise about them here:

• Stress Birefringence in STAR
• STAR GRIN ray tracing improvements - Up to 50% faster analyses for complex systems.
• Support for modeling spatially varying gratings via the Lumerical Sub-Wavelength Model (LSWM)
• Export Ray Footprint to CAD
• Composite Surface can now be converted to non-sequential mode
