Hi everyone,
We’ve identified a bug in the NEST tool included with the 2025 R2.04 release that affects the definition of user-defined pivot points. Specifically, the GUI interface for setting a custom pivot point does not correctly write the coordinates into the Lens Data Editor (LDE).
This issue has already been fixed and will be fully resolved in the upcoming 2026 R1 release.
Workaround (2025 R2.04)
Until you update to a version containing the fix, you can manually enter the pivot-point coordinates directly in the Lens Data Editor for the surface marked with ToPP that corresponds to the desired group’s pivot point:
-
Decenter X → X-coordinate of the pivot point
-
Decenter Y → Y-coordinate of the pivot point
-
Thickness → Z-coordinate of the pivot point
Once these values are entered manually, tolerancing will behave as expected.
