21.3.2 Release Notes

OpticStudio 21.3.2 contains the following fixes and enhancements.
Feature Enhancements
- ZOS file format – ZOS file format has been updated to save Diffraction DLL settings.
Performance & Stability
- ABg scatter model – Improved behavior for large g values and rebalanced scatter resolution when in the diffuse limit.
- Non-Sequential Ray Trace – Improved default faceting when rays are traced though ACIS CAD parts.
- STAR – Improved stability in STAR when attempting to model a non-physical system. Previously OpticStudio could crash when a Coordinate Break was added within an object which has a Thermal dataset applied.
Bug Fixes
- Convert to NSC Group – Off-Axis Conic Freeform is now correctly converted when in mirror space. Previously the object could be incorrectly reversed during the conversion process.
- Convert to NSC Group – Doublets containing diffraction gratings are now placed in the correct location with their grating on correct side after conversion.
- Tolerance Summary – Surface tilts introduced using TIRX and TIRY operands are now displayed in the correct columns.
