OpticStudio 20.1.1 contains the following fixes and enhancements.

Performance & Stability

  • ZOS-API Syntax Help – The ZOS-API Syntax Help has been updated to clarify the OPD calculations for sequential IBatchRayTrace.
  • Quick Sensitivity tool – Running the Quick Sensitivity tool now correctly reports the Worst Offenders section.

Bug Fixes

  • Multiple Configurations – Thermal pickups now work correctly for Q-type Aspheres with more than 3 configurations.
  • Error Handling – Updated error handling for Huygens PSF and FFT Line/Edge Spread Function when there is insufficient memory available.
  • Zemax Table Glass – Absorption calculations have been corrected for small transmittance values with ZTG table glass.
  • TrueFreeForm surface – The TrueFreeForm surface now correctly optimizes when placed on the image plane.
  • Export to Point Cloud tool – The surface normals are now correctly saved when exporting to a PCD point cloud file.
  • Prepare for OpticsBuilder tool – An issue was fixed in the Prepare for OpticsBuilder tool, where conversion when failed but returned an invalid error message.
  • Zemax License Manager – Subscription licenses now show the subscription expiration date correctly.
