1 Service Pack 20.2.1 - Bug Fixes
1.1 OpticsBuilder for Creo
OpticsBuilder for Creo Parametric now includes the following bug fixes:
- During the convert and build process to bring a .ZBD file into OpticsBuilder, select customers were seeing a pop-up message referring to “optical system parameter”. This pop-up message was a bug and is no longer displaying.
- A simulation will not fail after scatter profiles are changed for more than one component.
- Only components with changes receive outdated warnings and are to be updated during the subsequent ray traces.
- When generating a drawing, Creo would hide the drawing window behind OpticsBuilder. The drawing window now displays on top.
- Hatching on lens section views was not showing in OpticsBuilder drawings which had system units in millimeters. Hatching now shows on all section views regardless of system unit type.
1.2 OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS
OpticsBuilder for SOLIDWORKS now includes the following bug fixes:
- An error message was showing that told the user to save their optical assembly while opening a previously saved optical assembly.
- Sources were showing as suppressed on some users’ machines when they would load OpticsBuilder’s sample file, Heliar.zbd.
- It was possible to delete scatter profiles by using the delete button, in which case, no scatter profile would be on the component and would cause a failure during the simulation.
- If a user opened and converted a file into OpticsBuilder and then saved that assembly. Upon re-opening, some of the OpticsBuilder functionality would be grayed out. The functionality is now available as expected.
- In the drawing tool, some lenses with radii were shown as flat. The radii are now showing correctly.
