I’ve been given a chance to switch from Windows to Apple Mac. My company supports using Windows 365 VM on the Mac, but I wonder if I can use OpticStudio that way.

Hello!

Officially OpticStudio is tested and works on Intel CPU Based Mac machines in virtual machines. It’s not been tested / approved in Apple silicon CPUs (M1/M2 etc). Anecdotal evidence from other customers is that this seems to work fine as well using Parallels and WIndows 11 ARM edition.

Feel free to install on your Mac and get in touch with support if you have any troubles, and we will give best effort support to help.
