I’ve tried to simulate TIR in fiber with Zemax and can’t overcome the radiation losses happens at the core and clad interface ==> is there a way to make the TIR happens without any losses?

Hi Khalid,

TIR should be lossless. However there is a limit how many intersections and segments a ray can have which makes it difficult to produce meaningful models of ray propagation in multimode fibers. Perhaps you could attach a ZAR file of your design. This can be done by using file/ save as in the top menu and then putting the ZAR file in  a zip folder for attachment.
