This absolutely mystifies me. I export a lens file in STEP format, then bring up another Zemax, go to purely Non-sequential, and try to load the STEP file I just created back in so I can see how it exported. Why am I getting this error?

Dear Mike,
you can try change Optic Studio Preferences → General ...
Parasolid Export Version: Current (V31 )
Use Parasolid Libraries: “unchecked” state
This will hopefully solve your issues while exporting Zemax STEP Files for CAD Software import.
